Production of Chevrolet Niva vehicles launched in Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan launched production of Chevrolet Niva cars in the city of Kostanai, CJSC GM-AvtoBAZ said in a press release.

SaryArkaAvtoProm, a Kazakhstan-based car manufacturer,  launched production of Chevrolet Niva cars today in the city of Kostanai," the release says.

The agreement on supply of assembly complete sets was signed in January 2017. Expected production volumes are not revealed, Interfax reported.

GM-AvtoBAZ stressed that Kazakhstan is one of the most significant export markets for the enterprise.
