An event titled ‘No Robbery!’ is taking place in Yerevan on Marshal Baghramyan Street, where activists are protesting against the increase in electricity tariffs.
About 100 people were on a stone curb near the underground station Marshal Baghramyan in front of the Presidential Palace.
One of the main demands of the protesters is the cancellation of the decision taken on the 17th of June on a 16.7% increase in electricity tariffs, their reduction, as well the punishment of law enforcement officers, who were accused of using force during the dispersal of rallies on June 23rd and July 7th, and their immediate superiors.
