Public transport fares increased in Moscow

Since January 2, 2022, the cost of travel tickets in public transport in Moscow has increased.

From today, a single trip on the "Single" ticket will cost 61 rubles instead of 60 rubles. Also, the cost of a ticket for 2 trips has increased by 1 ruble, which will now cost 122 rubles. A single trip with the Troika card went up to 46 rubles (an increase of 4 rubles).

At the same time, the fares for Face Pay, the cost of a ticket for 365 days and a pass for three months for the metro, MCC, MCD and ground transport for students, schoolchildren, residents and graduate students remained the same.

The Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development of Moscow explained that it had to revise tariffs for 2022 due to increasing costs of fuel, electricity, infrastructure and components, RIA Novosti reports.
