The head of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, Thea Tsulukiani, has said that her agency has started toughening penalties for fighting during political elections in the country.
"I have a task. The Legal Regulation Department of the Ministry and analysts have already submitted the task. They will work hard to find out what practices exist in other countries," she said.
Earlier, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, commenting on the recent elections in the Gardabani district administration, said that it was necessary to toughen the punishment for fighting, Sputnik Georgia reports.
