Russian President Vladimir Putin send his message to the participants of the Eurasian Economic Forum, which opened in Verona on Thursday.
The message, which is published on the Kremlin's website, emphasizes that in its 10 years' existence the forum "has fully proved its relevance and reached well-deserved international standing".
Russia's president drew attention to the fact that the agenda of the jubilee forum is particularly rich and diverse. The participants will discuss "prospects for cooperation between the leading integration associations - the European Union and the Eurasian Economic Union", will consider "topical issues of multilateral cooperation in energy, finance, transport, infrastructure, science and technology, environmental protection," Putin said.
The forum brought together politicians and the biggest entrepreneurs of Russia, Italy, as well as from other countries. The session titled New Perspectives for Eurasian Cooperation will be of the key events of the forum.
