Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking at his annual news conference, noted success of Karachay-Cherkessia's ski resorts in developing tourism in the region.
According to him, the republic's resorts, such as Arkhyz, have been actively developing lately, creating a competitive advantage to domestic alpine skiing tourism.
