Vladimir Putin congratulates Karachaevo-Cherkessia on its anniversary

Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Karachaevo-Cherkessia residents on the 25th anniversary of the republic's establishment, noting that considerable advances were made in the economic and social spheres during a quoter of a century.

"Priority should be given to the issues of ensuring public harmony and stability in the North Caucasus," the telegram published on the Kremlin website reads, RIA Novosti reports.
