Russian and Iranian Presidents Vladimir Putin and Masoud Pezeshkian will meet in Turkmenistan, the Iranian Ambassador to Russia says.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Iranian counterpart Masoud Pezeshkian will meet in Turkmenistan. The relevant statement made by the Islamic Republic's Ambassador to Moscow, Kazem Jalali, was published on the embassy's official social media page.
"The presidents of Iran and Russia will meet in Ashgabat,”
– Kazem Jalali said.
Earlier today, the Kremlin press service announced that Vladimir Putin will visit Ashgabat on December 11-12 to participate in a forum marking the International Year of Peace and Trust, International Neutrality Day, and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality.
