Putin: Regions must be developed through national projects

Russia's President Vladimir Putin stated that national economic development projects must be implemented with a strong regional focus, taking into account local conditions across the country.

He issued this directive during a meeting of the Council for National Projects and Strategic Development.

"I emphasize that economic growth must be comprehensive, encompassing all constituent entities of the Federation. And in this regard, I ask that the regional component in economic national projects be strengthened",

Vladimir Putin said.

Putin also highlighted the need to address disparities in economic potential among regions and to work towards reducing these gaps.
