Putin: Russia-China relations are at an unprecedented high level

In his congratulatory message to Chinese leader Xi Jinping on the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, Russian President Vladimir Putin highlighted the unprecedented level of bilateral relations. The text of the message was published on the Kremlin website. 

"Russian-Chinese relations are at an unprecedented high level — this was fully confirmed by our recent thorough and constructive communication in Tianjin and in Beijing", 

Vladimir Putin stated.

Russia's President expressed confidence that the implementation of the agreements reached between Moscow and Beijing would further strengthen the comprehensive partnership and strategic interaction, and create conditions for launching new large-scale joint projects in various sectors.

"This undoubtedly meets the fundamental interests of the friendly peoples of Russia and China and is consistent with the construction of a just and democratic multipolar world order",

Putin said.

According to the Russian leader, China is strengthening its position on the global stage and making a significant contribution to resolving the most important issues on the global agenda.

Mao Zedong proclaimed the founding of the People's Republic of China on October 1, 1949. Since 1950, this day has been celebrated as a national holiday in China.
