Moscow is sincerely set to restore and develop bilateral relations with Turkey, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"We are sincerely seeking to restore full-format relations with our friendly country Turkey with which we have had unique relations of cooperation and coordination for many years," TASS cited Putin as saying.
The latest visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Russia "confirmed our joint determination for full work not only to restore but also to develop our bilateral relations," Putin added.
The Russian and Turkish presidents held their first talks on August 9 in St. Petersburg after the 8-month freeze in bilateral relations following the downing of a Russian Su-24 jet by the Turkish Air Force last November.
