Putin: Terrorist attacks forced Russia and France to join efforts against terrorism

Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with French President Francois Hollande that the terrorist attacks in France, as well as on the Russian plane on its way from Egypt, have forced Moscow and Paris to join forces in the fight against terrorism.

According to the head of the Russian state, he appreciates all Hollande's efforts to establish a broad coalition against terrorism. "We believe a coalition is absolutely necessary, in this sense we have the same positions," Gazeta.ru cites him as saying.
