Putin: US strikes against Syria impairs its relations with Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the US missile strike against Syria impairs the key goal of fighting international terrorism, the  Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, commenting on the the US strike.

"According to Putin, this step does not bring us closer to the ultimate goal in the fight against international terrorism. On the contrary, it creates serious obstacles to efforts in forging an international coalition to fight against it and effectively counter this global evil," Peskov stressed.

US President Donald Trump said that he has ordered targeted airstrikes on a Syrian airfield in response to the alleged chemical attack in Syria’s Idlib province. Pentagon said that the cruise missiles were intended for the Shayrat Airfield.
