Putin about participation in presidential elections

At a press conference on the results of the BRICS summit, Russian President Vladimir Putin commented on the possibility of his participation in the 2018 presidential elections.

"In the time provided by the law, those who want to take part in the next presidential election of the Russian Federation, I am sure, will say about it,’’ he noted.

"As soon as the election campaign is announced, everyone stops working, I know this first-hand. Everyone immediately starts thinking about what will happen after the elections, who will work, and so on," the head of state said.
