Russian President Vladimir Putin and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev held a telephone conversation, according to the Kremlin website.
The President of Azerbaijan gave the assessment of his meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, which was held in Vienna on March 29.
The Russian leader drew attention to the importance of intensifying the negotiation process between Azerbaijan and Armenia. "Russia's readiness to provide further assistance in finding solution on the key aspects of the settlement, including through the OSCE Minsk Group, was expressed," the Kremlin’s press service said.
Discussing issues on the bilateral agenda, the parties confirmed their mutual intention to expand mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields.
