Russian President Vladimir Putin has talked to his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan over the phone, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed.
The conversation took place," RIA Novosti cited Peskov as saying.
Earlier, a Turkish presidential source said that Erdogan stressed the importance of halting civilian deaths in Syria’s eastern Ghouta region in a telephone call with Putin.
