Putin and Erdogan may meet in Sochi

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan may meet in Sochi in August this year. Their meeting was announced after a telephone conversation between the two leaders, following which the Russian president instructed the government to begin the restoration of relations with Turkey.

Kommersant reports that the earlier meeting of the two leaders is possible, if the foreign ministers agree on this at the ambassadorial meeting in Moscow.

Yesterday Erdogan said that he agreed to meet with Putin at the G20 summit, which will be held in early September in China.
