Putin and Erdogan to hold phone talks on Monday

Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a phone talk with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday.

Erdogan made the announcement about the talk on Sunday, and the information has been confirmed by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

Peskov said that Putin is planning two international telephone conversations on Monday, one of them with Erdogan. "We are talking about a conversation between Putin and Erdogan, in the two-party format," he emphasized.

Erdogan said earlier that he also intended to talk to President Vladimir Zelensky of Ukraine on May 30.
