Today, Presidents of Russia and Turkey, Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, held the first telephone talks after the victory of the Turkish leader in the June 24 elections, a source in the office of Erdogan told journalists.
"President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin held telephone talks ... The leaders agreed to hold a personal meeting at the end of the month in Johannesburg within the framework of the BRICS summit," the source added.
