Russian and Belarus Presidents Vladimir Putin and Aleksander Lukashenko took part in the plenary session of the Forum of Regions of the two countries.
After the meeting the Russian leader proposed to hold days of Minsk in Moscow (similar to the days of Moscow in Minsk), RIA Novosti reports.
Putin recalled that the capitals of Russia and Belarus "traditionally have with each other’’, in addition, 80 subjects of the Russian Federation are currently supporting direct ties with their counterparts in Belarus. Tyumen, Moscow and Smolensk regions, as well as St. Petersburg are actively cooperating with Belarusian partners.
