 Putin and Lukashenko to hold talks in St. Petersburg

Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold talks with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko in St. Petersburg on July 18. The parties will discuss the development of close integration ties between the two countries.

The Russian leader noted that numerous events dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Union State were held in 2019. "We are committed to the further development of close integration ties with Belarusian partners," he stressed.

"This topic will be discussed during the talks with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, scheduled in conjunction with the sixth meeting of the Forum of Regions of the Two Countries on July 18 in St. Petersburg" the Russian head of state said.
