Russian President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev have been the guests of the today's international tournament in combat sambo League S-70and Plotforma S-70 in Sochi.
The event was attended by such honored guests as hockey players Alexander Yakushev, Vladimir Fetisov, Sergey Makarov, Alexander Kozhevnikov, Alexey Kasatonov, Valery Kamensky, Alexey Zhamnov, Alexey Gusarov, Evgeni Malkin and the world champion boxer Natalia Ragozin.
According to RIA Novosti, the tournament gathered wrestlers from Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Brazil, Britain, Canada and the United States. Athletes were divided into two teams: the Russian team against the world team. The key match is to take place between the world and European champions in the category of light-heavy-weight heavyweight Vadim Nemcova and Brazilian Joaquim "Mamut" Ferreira.
Recall that President Putin visited all previous tournaments Plotforma S-70. A year ago, these competitions were watched by President of Azerbaijan and President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan.
