Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who will arrive in Moscow next week for a visit, the Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
According to him, the situation in Syria will be one of the issues discussed at the talks.
The Kremlin spokesman noted that this visit was planned in advance. "The agenda is quite extensive," he said.
"The relations (between Russia and Israel) are advanced and partnership in various fields. There is a huge potential in economy, there are extensive grounds for cooperation in security and international politics," TASS cited him as saying.
