Putin and Pashinyan discuss implementation of Baku-Yerevan agreements

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan discussed in their telephone conversation the course of the implementation of the trilateral agreements’ settlement, the Kremlin’s press office said in a statement.

"Issues concerning the course of the trilateral agreements’ implementation between leaders of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan in regard to the Nagorno-Karabakh settlement, as well as issues regarding the ceasefire and restoration of the transportation and logistical communications in the South Caucasus were discussed," according to the statement.

The Kremlin’s press office added in its statement that a mutual agreement was reached during the talks between Putin and Pashinyan to maintain the strategic partnership between Russia and Armenia.

"A visit of the Armenian prime minister to Russia was likely to be scheduled in the nearest perspective," the statement added.
