President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon will make an official visit to Russia on April 16-17 at Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invitation.
"The talks’ agenda involves key bilateral matters and steps to boost mutually beneficial cooperation in the areas of politics, trade, economy and culture," the Kremlin press service said in the statement.
"The parties will also exchange views on pressing regional issues," TASS cited the press service as saying.
In addition, the two countries’ presidents are expected to sign a number of documents during their Moscow talks.
