Putin and Tokayev hold phone talks

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev have had a phone call, the Kremlin press service said.

The two leaders discussed current issues pertaining to the further development of mutually beneficial cooperation in the trade, economic, and energy spheres.

"The leaders agreed to maintain bilateral contacts at various levels," the statement reads.
