Kremlin Aide Yuri Ushakov has held a meeting with Special Assistant to the U.S. President, Senior Director for European and Russian Affairs on the U.S. National Security Council staff Fiona Hill, who arrived in Moscow for consultations.
"There were meeting in the [presidential] administration, with Ushakov," Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
The Kremlin spokesman noted that the two leaders’ advisers discussed "bilateral relations issues."
When asked whether the issue of a potential meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his U.S. counterpart Donald Trump was raised, Peskov answered in the negative, TASS reported.
