The Russian President has began his visit to North Korea. The North Korean leader met him at the airport and hugged him.
Let us note that this is a friendly visit, the program of which will begin on Wednesday afternoon. After North Korea, Putin will go to Vietnam.
The visit was commented on by the Aide to the President of the Russian Federation.

The collective West, represented by the head of NATO, responded immediately. According to Stoltenberg, NATO will respond to Putin's move by strengthening its ties with Japan and South Korea.
Let us remind you that the previous meeting of leaders took place last year, in 2023, and Putin visited the DPRK for the first time at the very beginning of his presidency in 2000.
