The participants of the summit of the leaders of Russia, Germany, Turkey and France, Vladimir Putin, Angela Merkel, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Emmanuel Macron confirmed that a settlement in Syria can be achieved only by the politico-diplomatic means. This statement was made by the Russian leader at a press conference following the quadripartite meeting.
According to him, all participants agreed that the long-term stability in Syria can be achieved only by the politico-diplomatic means in full compliance with the UN Security Council Resolution 2254, observing the principles of unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the SAR, TASS quotes Putin as saying.
