Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory message to President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev on the national holiday, Independence Day.
Puitn expressed appreciation of the Russian-Kyrgyz relations, which are developing sustainably in the spirit of strategic partnership and alliance.
"Our countries have developed a purposeful political dialogue and fruitful cooperation in many spheres, as well as effective interaction within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union, the CSTO and other international organisations," the President’s message reads.
Putin expressed confidence in the continued development of the entire range of Russian-Kyrgyz relations in the common interests of the two nations and in the spirit of security and stability in Central Asia.
