Putin congratulates Uzbek President on his birthday

Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyev on his 60th birthday during a phone call and wished him success in state activities.

The Presidents discussed "topical issues of bilateral cooperation in the context of the implementation of the results of Uzbek president's state visit to Russia," which was held in April this year, the Kremlin press service reported.

Earlier, Putin sent Mirzieyev a congratulatory telegram.
