Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated ice skater Pavel Kulizhnikov with gold of the 2019 World Sprint Speed Skating Championships.
Putin also extended his congratulations to the coaching staff of the speed skater, TASS reported.
Kulizhnikov has grabbed gold at the 2019 World Sprint Speed Skating Championships that ended on Sunday in Heerenveen, the Netherlands. This was his third gold at a sprint speed skating championship, the previous victories came in 2015 and 2016.
