Today Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his condolences to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in connection with the deaths of people in a fire on the oil platform at the 'Gunashli' field in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea.
"Dear Ilham Heydarovich, please accept my deepest condolences over the deaths of people as a result of the fire at the 'Gunashli' oil platform. I ask to convey words of sincere sympathy and support to the bereaved families and wishes for a speedy recovery to all the injured," the message says.
