Russian President Vladimir Putin does not plan to attend the Olympic Games opening ceremony in Rio next month, the Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"As I understand it, there are no plans of such a trip. He has another working schedule," Sputnik cited Peskov as saying.
He added that it is too early to speak about Putin’s plans to attend any of the August 5-21 games.
