Russian President Vladimir Putin’s upcoming visit to China for the opening ceremony of the Beijing Winter Olympics is scheduled for February 4.
Putin’s talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Friday will mark their first in-person meeting since 2019.
According to Kremlin, Beijing will host "full-scale, flagship Russian-Chinese negotiations," when the two leaders "will have an opportunity to take both with each other and with the delegations."
The 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing begin this week with the opening ceremony on Friday, the official start of the Games.
