According to the Kremlin, today, on the initiative of Berlin, a telephone conversation took place between Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
“During the discussion of the settlement in Ukraine, the importance of rigorous implementation of the Minsk Package of Measures and agreements reached during the Normandy format summits was confirmed,” the press service of the President of the Russian Federation informed, adding that, first of all, this applies to the implementation of the Steinmeier formula in Ukrainian legislation, and separation of forces and assets in the agreed sections of the contact line near the settlements of Zolotoe and Petrovskoye.
