Inflation in Russia will total around 12% in 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting on economic issues.
"There is every reason to expect that inflation will total around 12% this year," Putin said.
According to a number of experts, the trend for inflation to decrease will continue, he said.
Russia managed to quickly stabilize the inflation situation, with inflation reaching a peak of 17.8% in April and falling to 14.1% by September 5, Putin said.
