A meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Dmitry Mezentsev, who held the post of Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) until January 2016 took place today.
The President noted that the influence of the SCO has increased recently, and assured that Moscow will continue to pay the greatest attention to cooperation in the organization.
"We attach great importance to developing relations with our partners in the SCO," RIA Novosti cites Vladimir Putin as saying.
