Putin meets with Aliyev in Baku

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in Baku today.

The presidents made speeches during the meeting.

President Aliyev pointed to Russia’s role in the process of settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

“We value this role. Your personal participation plays an important role in making progress in the settlement process,” Trend cited Aliyev as saying.
