Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed the government to finalize and submit to the State Duma a draft law that would establish criminal responsibility for disseminating information on the acquisition, storage, transportation, manufacturing and processing of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, as well as their illegal distribution on the territory of the Russian Federation.
The aim of the bill is to extrajudicially restrict online access to information promoting the production, dissemination and use of drugs on the territory of Russia.
