Russian President Vladimir Putin drew attention to the need to support the non-profit organizations whose activities are related to interethnic cooperation, efforts to preserve and protect culture, traditions and languages of the peoples of Russia and migrants’ social adaptation.
"Their services have not yet been recognized as useful to society, which means that they are not entitled to the preferences that socially-oriented organizations have. And this can be a deterrent," TASS cited the president as saying.
He added that he is ready to include this issue in his address to the Federal Assembly.
