Russia's military operation in Syria cost 33 billion rubles from the Defense Ministry’s budget for military drills and training, the Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"The main purpose of our actions in Syria is to stop this terrible global evil, to prevent terrorism from spilling over to Russia," TASS cited Putin as saying.
