Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with the Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas on April 18, Sputnik reporots.
“It’s expected the heads of state will review actual issues in the Russian-Palestinian agenda and discuss joint steps in increasing the entire complex of bilateral cooperation, first and foremost in the trade, economic, and humanitarian spheres,” the press service of the Kremlin said.
Priority will traditionally be given to the Palestinian-Israeli negotiations process. Bilateral issues will also be discussed
At the same time, Vladimir Putin and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will hold a meeting in Russia on April 21 to discuss the situation in Syria and Israeli-Palestinian settlement, the Kremlin press service added.
