Russia's permanent representative to the UN, Vitaly Churkin, stated that during the UN General Assembly Vladimir Putin will have a meeting with the Secretary General of the organization Ban Ki-moon. It is reported that the administration of the Secretary General has confirmed this.
"Putin will give a speech during the first day of general political discussion. He will be the sixth speaker," Churkin said. The diplomat added that the speech of the Russian leader is scheduled for about 10:45 am (17:45 MSK), RIA Novosti reported.
