President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with the Russian Ambassador to the Republic Alexei Borodavkin, the Head of state's press service reports.
The parties discussed the state and prospects of bilateral strategic partnership, and also stressed the importance of strengthening and expanding ties in all areas.
In addition to this, Borodavkin and Tokayev paid special attention to the upcoming autumn visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Kostanay, where the 19th Interregional Cooperation Forum will be held.
