Today the president of the Twin City Association, governor of the Moscow region Andrey Vorobyov, read Vladimir Putin’s address to the participants of of the 13th Conference of German-Russian twin cities.
"Twinning is an important component of bilateral relations between Russia and Germany. They unite not only big cities like Moscow and Berlin, St. Petersburg and Hamburg, Stuttgart and Samara, but also dozens of small towns. They are a popular and effective channel for direct dialogue between the civil societies of the two countries," Vladimir Putin wrote in the statement.
