Russia is worried to see NATO getting closer to its borders, Russian President Vladimir Putin said, addressing the St Petersburg International Economic Forum today.
He noted that Russia and the NATO military alliance needed to cooperate to fight terrorism because if they didn't there would be more attacks, RIA Novosti reported.
Putin added that he views NATO as an instrument of US foreign policy.
