Russian President Vladimir Putin’s approval rating has risen to 81.3% over the week, according to a poll, released on Friday by the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VTsIOM).
"Asked if they trust Putin, 81.3% of those polled replied in the positive (up 0.6 percentage points from a week earlier)," the pollster said, adding that 78.4% of respondents approved of Putin’s actions (up 0.7 p.p.).
That said, 52.3% of the respondents (up 0.1 percentage point) were satisfied with the government’s endeavors, and while 52.5% (up 2.4 p.p.) approved of Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin’s work.
