Celebrations dedicated to the 235th anniversary of the city are to take place in Pyatigorsk from the 12th to the 13th of September.
The festival Carnival of Flowers starts at 12:00. A procession of children in unusual costumes in the form of ‘living flowers’ will take place on Kozlov Street.
At the same time, the Forum and Exhibition Pyatigorsk today and tomorrow is to be held in Tsvetnik Park.
A ceremony of laying the first stone of the Museum of Antiquities will take place on this day in the open air. The decision on reopening itwas made 135 years after its closure.
