Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway to be put into operation by the end of next autumn

The Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway is to be fully put into operation by November 2016, the head of JSC Azerbaijan Railways Javid Gurbanov said.

"Construction works are to be fully completed in 2016. We are planning to start transportation of goods by the end of 2015. During the next year we plan to complete the electrification of the railroad and the creation of the railway infrastructure,’’ Trend cites him as saying.
